Originated from seed sown or cuttings received from America by Mr Fillingham, Swanland, Yorkshire. It was received by the National Fruit Trials in 1923. The apples are medium to large with crisp, fine textured flesh. that is sharp and tangy. The showy blossom is stunning, shades of pink.
