Description

Van is an old variety that originated in Canada, 1944. They are a rich red turning, almost black when fully ripe and have an excellent flavour. It is a hardy, heavy cropping variety that although isn’t self fertile, is a very good pollinator of other Cherry varieties.
Van can be pollinated by; Merton Glory, Lapins Cherokee, Stella & Sweetheart.
