Bismarck – Half Standard



This apple was named after Prince Bismarck the German Chancellor. Its origin is variously reported as Bismarck, Tasmania; Carisbrooke, Australia; and Canterbury, New Zealand. Received a First Class Certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1887. Fruits have firm, fine-textured, juicy flesh with an sharp flavour. It Cooks well.
