Gloucester Royal – Half Standard

Description

Raised in about 1930 at Dursley, Gloucestershire, by J.W. Thornhill. It was introduced in 1956 by Matthews Fruit Trees Ltd., Thurston, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Fruits have coarse flesh with a sweet flavour.
