River’s Early – Fan Trained Tree – Potted

Description

Introduced around 1830 by Mr Thomas Rivers , a nursery man of Sawbridgeworth. This variety is a small round purple fruit. The flesh is golden yellow and when fully ripe they make for very pleasant eating. Also excellent for cooking.
